Williford named Student Rotarian

KINGMAN - Daniel Williford, 18, was chosen by the Kingman Rotary Club as a Student Rotarian.

Daniel said he was both surprised and excited when he was notified of his selection and that to be named with such illustrious students is truly a blessing. He hopes to make the most of this opportunity.

Some honors, awards and extracurricular activities he has received or participated in since freshman year are: football - 2013, Varsity Unsung Hero award, 2014 Varsity MVP Award, "Superior Tire" player of the week (QB), 1st Team All-City (QB), 1st Team All-Section (QB), "AZ 360 Sports" All-State, All-Academic Honorable Mention, "Down Under Sports" Impact Athlete Honors Award, Elected President and Team Captain of Varsity Football. Academic Excellence award from the Kingman Police Department. He was awarded by Kingman High School for excelling in Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry.

Daniel plans on attending Arizona State University to get his masters in either Astrophysics or Civil Engineering.
