On June 19, 2015, one of God's children, Christopher Mark Peters, was called to the kingdom of our heavenly father.
Christopher was born in Tucson in 1981. Shortly after, with his dad, he moved to Silver City, N.M.
Christopher spent the first 11 years of his young life growing up there. He enjoyed and learned hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and motorcycles. He then moved with his family to Kingman in 1992 where he resided until present.
He attended most of his high school years in Kingman, receiving his diploma from the state of Nevada. He then started his working career, mostly in the service industry until 1996. He found employment then with Energy Erectors out of Las Vegas, Nev., as an industrial electrician. His new bosses and fellow coworkers became his second family. Several of these fine people came to be with Christopher during his last days at the hospital.
Christopher died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Albuquerque, N.M.
Survivors include his daughter, Charleigh Peters; his dad, Mark Peters of Colorado Springs, Colo.; his step-mom Lisa Miller, also of Colorado Springs; his grandma, Joyce Peters of Monument, Colo.; his fiancé, Darya Watkins of Golden Valley; two uncles, Mike Peters of Gardner, Kan., and Jeff Peters of Brookings, S.D.; and two cousins, Justin and Stephen Peters of Gardner, Kan.
In lieu of flowers, please make any donations in his honor to motorcycle organizations such as HOG, AMA, etc. and any child abduction organizations. Christopher died not knowing where his four-year-old daughter is. Services will be held at a later date.
