Mary Ann Brockman, 60, of Kingman, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Casa de la Luz Hospice in Tucson. She was born in Richmond, Ky., on Oct. 17, 1954.
Mary Ann was a resident of Kingman since 1990 and resided in the Valle Vista community since 1997. She managed the Route 66 RV Park for the last eight years alongside her loving companion, Walt Stegenga. Mary Ann was the rock of her family. She was strong and courageous and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ervin "Dink" Brockman Jr. and Carolyn Antes Brockman, and brother Terry Brockman.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Kelly Medlin; son-in-law, John Medlin of Tucson; son, Shane Covington; grandson Dylan Fowler of Scottsdale; granddaughter Kelci Covington of Congress, Ariz.; grandchildren Ethan, Gunnar and Annsleigh Medlin of Tucson; brother, Ervin Brockman III of Virginia; and loving companion, Walt Stegenga of Kingman.
Services will be held at the Valle Vista Community Church on at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27, with a memorial reception to follow immediately.
Arrangements were placed under the care of Desert Sunset Funeral Home of Tucson.
