Hunters: Don't forget to update card information before tags drawn

KINGMAN - The Arizona Game and Fish Department has announced that July 9 is the last day that sportsmen who applied for 2015 fall big game tags can update their credit card information.

Game and Fish notes that sportsmen are responsible for keeping their account information current. If a credit card or debit card is invalid for any reason at the time when the computerized draw is performed, online applications could be rejected.

If an applicant is rejected, not only are they not eligible for a tag, but they also lose any accumulated loyalty bonus points as well.

Online applicants who have been issued new cards, a new expiration date, or had a change in the card's numbers should go to az.gov/azgfd/draw and scroll down to "Update My Payment Information."

The department notes that if payment is declined, they will make three attempts within two business days to contact the payee or Applicant A on the application.

That individual will then be afforded a means of providing alternative payment within a specified timeframe.

No exceptions will be made for online applicants who do not respond to the department's attempt to contact them.

The department will post on its website when results of the fall draw become available. All permits tags will be mailed by Aug. 7, and all refunds will be mailed by Aug. 17.
