Golden Valley fatal wreck victim identified

GOLDEN VALLEY - The man who died Wednesday after his car was struck by a tanker hauling water on Highway 68 has been identified as Ronald Harold Frisby, 69, of Golden Valley.

Witnesses said Frisby was on Mobile Road when he pulled in front of the westbound truck and was struck almost immediately. The tanker was carrying potable water.

Frisby was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Golden Valley Fire Chief Tom O'Donohue.

Traffic was restricted for about 90 minutes following the 4 p.m. crash.
