Hit-and-run driver sought by police

KINGMAN - A 6-year-old Kingman boy was injured Tuesday evening after he rode into the path of a white SUV.

The driver did not stop.

The incident occurred while the boy rode his bike north on Kenneth Road and into Kino Avenue at about 6:10 p.m., according to Kingman Police Deputy Chief Rusty Cooper.

The boy struck the side of the vehicle and broke his left leg.

Cooper said the boy failed to yield, but failure to stop at an injury crash is a crime.

The only description of the vehicle is that it is a white SUV, last seen heading west on Kino Avenue.
