Man indicted for alleged church arsons

KINGMAN - The transient accused of burning down two Dolan Springs churches in September has been indicted.

James Earl Johnson, 78, was arrested Nov. 6 on a warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court on two felony counts of arson of an occupied structure and two felony counts of aggravated criminal damage. These are the same four charges the Mohave County Grand Jury indicted him on Thursday. Mohave County Sheriff's deputies found him in the area of Pierce Ferry and Havasu roads in Dolan Springs.

The Sept. 26 fires seriously damaged Dolan Springs Baptist Church and burned to the ground Mt. Tipton Community Church. Both churches are across the street from each other in the 15000 block of Pierce Ferry Road.

Judge Stephen Conn will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

The grand jury also indicted:

• Jose Heriberto Tarango and Julio Cazares: Transportation of narcotics for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Judge Lee Jantzen was scheduled to arraign them at 8:30 a.m. today.

• Gabriella Alisa Sanchez and Loretta Lyn Kemp-Dressel: Transportation of marijuana for sale (more than two pounds), transportation of narcotics for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Judge Billy Sipe will arraign them at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Phong Tien Nguyen: Transportation of marijuana for sale (more than two pounds) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sipe will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Michael O'Neil Richards and Wayne Anthony Richards: Transportation of marijuana for sale (more than two pounds) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Conn will arraign them at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

• Caton Joseph Arnold and Clifford Lee Dickerson: Transportation of marijuana for sale (more than two pounds), importation of marijuana (more than two pounds) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sipe will arraign them at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Alex Allen Adams: Aggravated assault.

Jantzen was scheduled to arraign him at 8:30 a.m. today

• Bradley Louis Schaffer: Theft of means of transportation.

Conn will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

• Taylor Joi Merrick and Pokey Lee Evans: Second-degree burglary, theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sipe will arraign them at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Trevarius Dashun Money: Possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and refusal to provide truthful name.

Sipe will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Shawna Joy McDaniel: Possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Conn will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

• Michael Blaine Turner: Possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of narcotics, three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor count of false reporting to law enforcement officer.

Conn will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

• Sean Martin Yellowhair: Disorderly conduct involving a weapon by domestic violence, criminal damage by domestic violence and a misdemeanor count of assault by domestic violence.

Conn will arraign him at 8:309 a.m. Monday.

• Michael E. Thompson: Possession of narcotics for sale, possession of marijuana for sale (more than four pounds), possession of dangerous drugs, possession of equipment or chemicals, or both for the manufacture of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Conn will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

• Roger Eugene Fenske: Misconduct involving weapons and disorderly conduct involving a weapon by domestic violence.

Conn will arraign him 8:30 a.m. Monday.

• Jason Allen Clark: Possession of narcotics for sale, possession of narcotics, possession of methamphetamine and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Conn will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

• Christopher Lamar Pratt: Possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotics, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.

Sipe will arraign him at 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

• Samuel James Bosler: Theft of means of transportation and unlawful flight from pursuing law enforcement vehicle.

Conn will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Monday.
