KINGMAN - A 42-year-old Las Vegas woman apparently escaped serious injury from a single-vehicle rollover late Wednesday afternoon on U.S. 93 mile marker 57 north of Kingman.
Golden Valley Fire District firefighters from Station 11 responded at 5:15 p.m. to the report that included information the female driver was pinned inside her vehicle.
When fire district personnel arrived on scene, they saw that civilians who had ob-served the accident had already righted the vehicle back onto its wheels and the driver had self-extracted herself from the crashed vehicle.
According to a preliminary assessment of the accident, it was determined the woman had been driving southbound on U.S. 93 when she lost control of her vehicle and it rolled multiple times prior to it ending up atop a small hill adjacent to the roadway.
Fire district personnel treated the sole occupant and she was transported via ambulance to Kingman Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The exact cause of the accident is being investigated by the Department of Public Safety.
