Domestic violence

On Nov. 14, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested James Charles Kaltsas, 50, of Mohave Valley on felony charges of taking the identity of another and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant issued by Bullhead City Justice Court.

A 48-year-old Golden Valley woman was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of criminal damage by domestic violence and another Mohave Valley man, 51, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct by domestic violence.

Deputies responded to a disturbance at a home in the 1500 block of South Glenbar Road just after 12:10 p.m.

Dispatchers advised one of the men had left in a Chevrolet pickup with a shattered rear window. The woman, who lives in the home, told deputies that the man who left was her boyfriend and he showed up "yelling and screaming," said sheriff's office spokeswoman Trish Carter.

Another deputy pulled over the driver of the truck and found Kaltsas in the passenger seat of the vehicle. Kaltsas allegedly gave deputies the wrong name, but they eventually discovered his identity and a computer check revealed the warrant. A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a glass pipe where Kaltsas had been sitting.

Meanwhile, deputies learned the woman was allegedly responsible for the man's shattered rear window. She reportedly admitted to throwing a rock to get the man to leave, said Carter.

All three were taken into custody without incident.

Warrant

On Nov. 16, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Fredrick Marion Hulbert, 53, of Boise City, Okla., on a felony failure to appear warrant issued by Cochise County Superior Court.

Deputies responded to a theft report in the 2800 block of Northern Avenue just before 12:30 p.m.

They spoke with Hulbert and a computer check revealed the warrant. He was taken into custody without incident.

Narcotics, warrants

On Nov. 18, Kingman Police officers arrested Kenzie Ranelle Allison, 23, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with five contempt of court warrants issued by an unspecified court.

A 27-year-old man who was with her was arrested on two misdemeanor failure to pay fines warrants.

Police were searching for the man when they contacted Allison in the 3300 block of Andy Devine Avenue and took both of them into custody on their respective warrants.

A search of Allison allegedly revealed she possessed heroin and the associated paraphernalia.

Both were taken into custody without incident.

Warrants, drugs

On Nov. 19, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Trina Marie Noelani McConkey, 33, of Kingman on felony warrants for child abuse, dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia issued by Mohave County Superior Court. A 30-year-old man who was with her was arrested on a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court.

Deputies contacted McConkey regarding an unrelated investigation in the 3200 block of McVicar Avenue at about 1:45 p.m.

Record checks on both people revealed the warrants and they were taken into custody without incident.

Drugs

On Nov. 19, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jessica Dawn Geesey, 19, of Kingman on felony possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia charges.

Deputies pulled over an allegedly speeding vehicle in the area of Lomita Street and Packard Avenue at about 11:25 p.m. The driver was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license. A search of Geesey's backpack allegedly revealed a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance, a pipe with marijuana residue and a marijuana grinder.

Both were taken into custody without incident.

Child support

On Nov. 18, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested James David Busse, 40, of Kingman on a felony failure to pay child support warrant.

Busse went to the Mohave County Sheriff's office to update his sex offender registration status and a record check revealed the warrant.

He was taken into custody without incident.

Drugs

On Nov. 18, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Trinity Lee Hudgens, 22, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court.

A woman flagged down deputies in the 4300 block of Eagle Drive at about 4:20 p.m. and advised that she saw someone crawl through a window of an abandoned home.

Deputies saw a man and woman walking out of the back door. A record check revealed the warrant and a search allegedly revealed the man possessed methamphetamine and glass pipe. He was taken into custody without incident.

Paraphernalia

On Nov. 18, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Nikki Marie Johnston, 26, and Roberto Sandoval, both of Fargo, N.D., on felony charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The pair was pulled over and Johnston, the driver, was taken into custody for not having a valid driver's license. A search of Johnston's purse allegedly revealed a container holding white crystal residue. A search of Sandoval's bag allegedly revealed a pipe.

The pair was taken into custody without incident.
