DOLAN SPRINGS - A Dolan Springs man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly used a pipe to strike another man in the face the day before.

Justin Wayne Thompson, 29, faces a felony charge of aggravated assault after several witnesses told Mohave County Sheriff's deputies that Thompson struck a 22-year-old man at a home on Bridle Circle in Dolan Springs sometime before 10 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies spoke to the man at Kingman Regional Medical Center, where he was transported by ambulance that night. The man said he didn't know who hit him in the face. He sustained a broken nose and bruising, according to a sheriff's office spokeswoman.

The man said he blacked out and only remembered the ambulance ride to KRMC.

Deputies located Thompson at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday at a home on Cinch Drive. Thompson reportedly denied assaulting the man. He was taken into custody without incident.

Thompson was convicted of theft in Mohave County Superior Court in April and placed on probation. A petition to revoke Thompson's participation in the program was filed Monday.
