KINGMAN - The Kingman High swim team hosts the final prep meet of the season in Kingman at the Del E. Webb Wellness Center at 4 p.m. today. The Bulldogs take on the Kingman Academy Tigers, Bullhead City MALC and San Luis.

Kingman and the Academy enter today's meet after getting a week off competition wise. Both teams took on Lake Havasu Oct. 15 in Lake Havasu City.

Both Kingman area squads fell to Lake Havasu, and the Tigers and Bulldogs split their dual meets. Kingman won the boys meet by forfeit over the Academy, and it was the Lady Tigers handling the Lady Bulldogs, 54-6.

It was a meet clearly dominated by Lake Havasu. Only Kingman's Conner Mahlmeister earned a win that kept the Knights from sweeping the boys and girls events. Mahlmeister won the 50-meter freestyle in 32.19 seconds.

After today's meet, both Kingman and the Academy begin preparations for the regional championships next weekend in Yuma.
