Information on reported shooter sought

KINGMAN - The Mohave County Sheriff's office seeks the public's help in identifying a driver who nearly ran over a pedestrian and then shot at him Tuesday afternoon.

The pedestrian, a 46-year-old man, told deputies he had just left his home in the 4600 block of Patsy Drive at about 4:40 p.m. when he was almost hit by a sedan, and that the driver "started shooting at him as he was running back to his residence," said sheriff's office spokeswoman Trish Carter.

The man said two white males were in the vehicle, but apparently could not provide a more comprehensive description of the vehicle or its occupants.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff's office at (928) 753-0753 or Silent Witness at (928) 753-1234.
