KINGMAN - The Mohave County Grand Jury indicted a Kingman man on eight felony counts related to theft, but that is just one case that will likely attract the grand jury's attention.

David Leander Hickle Jr., 29, was indicted Thursday on two counts of first-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree trafficking in stolen property, two counts of misconduct involving weapons, and two counts of theft.

The charges are the result of a Jan. 21 residential burglary in which Hickle allegedly stole jewelry and other items. Kingman Police detectives investigated the crime that occurred in the 3200 block of Producers Mine Road and tracked a number of stolen items to an area pawn shop with Hickle the person who allegedly pawned the jewelry.

Earlier this month, a Mohave County Sheriff's deputy arrested Hickle in northern Kingman after a brief chase. Hickle was allegedly riding an ATV that was reported stolen out of Golden Valley. He also allegedly possessed marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He faces in that case a possible indictment on felony charges of theft, drug possession and unlawful flight from a pursuing law enforcement vehicle.
