KINGMAN - Lee Williams made its three first-inning runs stand up and the Volunteers ended the regular season on an eight-game winning streak after disposing of Wickenburg in Division III, Section V Monday at LWHS, 5-2.

Paul Giglio led off the game for the Vols with a single and then stole both second and third. Carter Rhoades doubled in Giglio, Nate Cottrell doubled home Rhoades, and Kenyon Rowley's single scored Cottrell for the 3-0 lead.

Lee Williams (13-3, 7-0) managed to get some breathing room with two runs in the last of the fifth. Jeremy Graves led off the inning with a walk and later scored on an RBI single by Rhoades. He then advanced to second on a passed ball, went to third on a Nate Cottrell single and then stole home.

After the third inning, Wickenburg couldn't get a runner past second base.
