KINGMAN - Two high schools have joined forces to put on a springtime musical.
King Lee Productions, a joint effort between Kingman High School and Lee Williams High School, will premiere "Seussical the Musical" this week. The child-friendly show directed by Clare Schroeder of KHS Drama combines elements of multiple Dr. Seuss stories to create a full-production story line with music and dance.
Sarah Kucharek (LWHS) is technical director, William Gillespie (LWHS Music) is band director. Christine Severin (LWHS Music) and Greg Chenoweth (KHS choir) are directing the musical and vocal elements.
The show is at 7 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday at the Hilda Aguilar Center for Performing Arts (the KHS auditorium). The lobby opens at 6 p.m. General admission is $7, or $5 for students with ID.
