Everette Leon Fish Sr. was born Oct. 11, 1934, in Harvey, Ill., along with his sisters Evelyn and Elaine. They had an older brother, James, and their parents were Thomas and Francis Fish. In 1954, he married Marie Reiland and over the next 15 years they had six boys: Everette Jr. (Benita), John, Robert (Wanda), Arthur, David (Brandy) and Patrick (Katherine). As the boys were growing up, Everette Sr. was a Little League manager, a Cub Scout master and was a member of the National Guard.
In 1975, the family moved to Las Vegas to be near Marie's brother. Everette spent more than 40 years selling life and burial insurance throughout the Las Vegas area. He and Marie purchased six homes in the Kingman area and spent many weekends there.
In 2008, Everette and Marie moved to Kingman. Marie passed away shortly after. They had been married 54 years. In 2009, Everette married Patricia Brewer and they were married for nearly eight years. They had many good times with friends at the local senior center, Grandpa's Kitchen restaurant and were members of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Everette also enjoyed watching old western movies and playing cards with his family.
Everette went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, sisters and wife, Marie. He is survived by his second wife, Patricia, all six of his children, his daughters-in-law, eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. May 3, 2016, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. A graveside service will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
