Column: Trump can lead us out of the swamp

When considering who to vote for president this November, I hope everyone remembers one single fact:

President Obama has added more debt to America than every other previous U.S. president combined. Think about that.

After 242 years of existence and all those presidents, some better than others both financially and historically, one single president comes along and takes us from an unimaginable $10 trillion in debt and then in just eight short years raises that debt to $20 trillion with nothing to show for it.

Where did all that money go? How many failed green projects are we going to allow our government to throw away our money on? How many back room deals were made and pockets lined?

Al Gore had less than $1 million when he started this global warming bull. Now he has a net worth of over $200 million and he is just one example of wasted tax dollars while Social Security recipients got a zero percent pay raise this year.

Have you noticed your paycheck doesn’t go as far as it used to? Do you have to make do with less? Do you have to decide whether to buy hamburger or flank steak because your dollar just doesn’t allow you to buy what you really want anymore?

The reason is called inflation. The dollar, in America, just isn’t as strong as it should be. That’s what happens after almost eight years of printing money with nothing to back it up. Ironically, the dollar is doing well in other countries but not our own.

Only one candidate cares enough to lower the debt and deficit, both of which are extremely important for future generations to have any kind of quality of life, and that person is of course Donald Trump, a proven leader in the business world who knows how to bring people together to get things done. A leader who will put Americans first for a change. A leader serious about upholding our border laws to secure an extremely porous border.

It’s important to ignore all the noise coming from both the left and from the establishment politicians from both sides of the isle. These establishment pols have a cozy relationship which helps each other but does nothing for we the people and future generations. If you care about America there is only one choice this election cycle.

America will have a woman president someday. Let’s make sure that woman is someone of sound judgment and integrity, someone honest who doesn’t lie as easy as breathing, someone not H.R. Clinton. America made a huge mistake in electing Obama; let’s not make that same mistake with the Democrat candidate in November.

A full 73 percent of Americans are unhappy with the direction this country is heading. Only Donald Trump wants to fix that. His opponent wants to stay on this same trajectory until we implode both financially and culturally.

Between ISIS and the BLM groups our country has some serious challenges ahead to deal with. Vote smart. Vote for your future and the future of your kids and grandkids. Vote Trump this November. Our very way of life depends on it.
