Suspect at large after bank robbed

KINGMAN – The Kingman Police Department is investigating an armed robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank in the Smith’s grocery store in the 3400 block of Stockton Hill Road.

The robbery occurred Wednesday at about 5:45 p.m., when a white male approached a teller, said he had a gun, and demanded money. A weapon was not displayed.

After receiving the cash, the suspect exited the store and was last seen walking westbound in the parking lot.

He is between 45 and 60 years of age, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and 165 pounds, with gray facial hair. He was wearing a black ball cap with a “Tegna” logo, black T-shirt, tan shorts, and flip flops.

The specific amount of cash stolen is not being released. A reward is being offered through Silent Witness for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

The suspect may have left in a silver or gold four-door sedan.
