Letter: Critics, get your facts first

A few weeks ago my wife and I were watching some show. Some woman had taught her six-month-old baby how to swim. I don’t know how she did it, but she did. That little baby was really doing a great job. The mother was right there. She put it on Facebook.

That woman was criticized to the hilt. People thought it was trouble.

Later on that woman came out and told why she did that. She had lost a child who fell in a pool and drowned. She said she wasn’t going to go through that again. She said that child was not in any danger.

It boils down to this: If you are going to criticize, make sure you have all the facts first.
