Letter of thanks: Floyd & Co. served the Lord on Thanksgiving

“If among you, one of your brothers should become poor, in any of your towns within your land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart or shut your hand against your poor brother.” Deuteronomy 15:7

Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, 2016, Floyd & Company (formally known as Rednecks Southern Pit BBQ) opened their restaurant to feed the less fortunate in our community. I would like to thank the Floyd family for graciously working with all the volunteers and serving 600 plus dinners.

Special thanks to all the volunteers and local businesses that graciously donated to this worthy cause: Kingman Regional Medical Center, Salvation Army, The Lingenfelter Center and The Gardens, Saint Mary Catholic Church Parishioners, Dave and Terry Akers of Kingman Furniture, Roger Campos at Rainbow Diner, Gary and Mary Christopher Home Style Furniture, Barbara Ricca Century 21 realtor, Robert Kingston of Bimbo Bakeries and all the volunteers who took time away from their family to help.

Please thank all these wonderful people and support the local businesses that are always there without hesitation to help our community.

Thank you and God bless you all.
