Dig It Kingman Community Garden: Despite the crazy wind on Saturday, the Winterfest in the Garden was fun! Thank you to the many people who came to the garden to participate in the event.

Ron Tanner, Kingman Area Master Gardener, gave a seed-starting presentation that was well received. Our bonfire was warm and toasty. Making s'mores was a hit! The s'more ingredients were donated by Safeway South. People also enjoyed the Starbucks coffee and hot chocolate from The Garlic Clove.

We appreciate the generous donations from these establishments. Also appreciation goes to the Kingman Daily Miner and KGMN radio for helping us spread the word about our event.

We are still leasing garden beds and seeking sponsors for our Dig It Dash (5K run/walk) on April 2. Our next garden event is Hands-on Seed Starting and Seed Sharing on Feb. 20.
