Elaine Margaret (Poole) Hill, 71, of Kingman, passed away peacefully on Feb. 4, 2016, with her son Christopher by her side at Joan and Diane Hospice Home due to complications of COPD.
Elaine was born Dec. 15, 1944, in Gloucester, Mass., the daughter of Dwight and Arlene (Young) Poole.
Elaine was a longtime resident of Kingman and was a retired clerk at Mohave County Treasurer's Office. She was a devoted dog parent and enjoyed making quilts for family and friends.
She is survived by her mother, Arlene (Young) Moore of Gloucester; her sons, John Dineen and Paul Dineen of Kingman and Christopher Dineen of Stoneham, Mass.; her stepchildren Carol (Hill) Lawrence and Daniel Hill and their respective families; her siblings James Poole, Glenn Poole, Thomas Poole and Ellen (Poole) Marques of Gloucester; her granddaughters Reesa Dineen, Jasmyn (Dineen) Mills of Kingman and Skylar Dineen-Johnson of Payson; her great-grandchildren, Brandon, Jeremiah, Scott, Ellie, Shelby and Pace; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by Dwight Poole, her father; Warren Moore, her step-father; James Dineen, her former husband and father of her children; and Lester Hill, her former husband.
Sutton Funeral Home will perform cremation in Kingman and remains will be buried in Rockport, Mass. Memorial services in Kingman and/or Rockport are still pending. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Kingman Animal Hospital in her name.
