Valle Vista roads get asphalt this week

KINGMAN - Mohave County Public Works plans the following for the coming week:

Off Route 66 in Valle Vista, crews will be applying an asphalt level course on Monday on Monte Vista Drive, Monument Drive, and Monument Way.

In Meadview, beginning on Tuesday, crews will be applying an asphalt level course on several roads in the areas of Haystack Drive and Bright Angel Drive. Work may continue into next week if necessary.

In the Dolan Springs area, the blades will be working west of Highway 93 on 7th Street, and north of the central business district from 14th Street to 17th Street.

North of Kingman, a blade will be maintaining shoulders in the Cactus Wren area. East of Kingman off I-40 to the north, the blade will be active in Greenwood Village, east of Hackberry Road. South of I-40, a blade will be working on Old Highway 93, followed by McCarrel Road.

In Golden Valley, the blades will be active in Walnut Creek Estates, on Bacobi to Aztec and from Highway 68 south, on Shinarump to Tapeats and from Egar west, on Teddy Roosevelt to Estrella and from Highway 68 to Burro, and on Troy from Glen Canyon to Estrella.

Additionally, crews will be repairing potholes and sweeping in So-Hi Estates and on Chino from Colorado to Milky Way.
