KINGMAN - Human remains found near the California border have been identified as an Arizona woman missing since last month.
Kingman police announced Wednesday that the Riverside County Coroner's Office in California has confirmed the remains are those of 70-year-old Judith Wright.
She was declared missing May 9, three days after leaving a Kingman care center in her car. Police say Wright suffered from Alzheimer's and had not been taking her medication for about eight weeks.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department located Wright's vehicle on May 29 in a remote desert area between Blythe and Palm Springs and remains were found two days later. Personal affects and clothing led investigators to believe the remains were those of Wright.
A cause of death hasn't been determined yet, but authorities don't suspect foul play.
