Walter Dean Kinnett Sr. of Kingman passed away May 28, 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Catalina Kinnett of Kingman, son Walter Dean Kinnett Jr. of Galt, Calif., daughter Sherry Rose Kinnett of Kingman, stepchildren Karen Wawahsuck, Lupita and Michael Augustine, grandchildren Kristopher and Nicolas Ray, Amanda and Kayla Ringler, Donnis Adrianna, Trubey John, Kevin and Kraven Kinnett, Penny and Saun Dean Kinnett, Faith Kinnett, Michael Kinnett and Anthony Sanchez.
He was born April 5, 1934, to Robert and Elsie Kinnett in Ohio County, Ind. In 1952, Walter joined the U.S. Air Force, where he was a master sergeant. He served 35 years in the military.
Master Sergeant Kinnett served in the Korean War. In 1991, he was reactivated with the 452nd Air Refueling Wing to serve in Desert Storm. He accumulated many awards during his 35 years of service in the U.S.A.F.
He will be remembered for always lending a hand to anyone who was in need.
Services will be from 4-7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Cedar Hills Community Church, 9188 E. Dally Drive, Kingman, with Pastor Rick Mauldin officiating.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 24, at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, Calif.
