Gun threat among counts issued by grand jury

KINGMAN - A Kingman man who allegedly tossed a handgun out of his car window after Kingman Police tried to pull him over June 12 following a domestic violence incident has been indicted.

The Mohave County Grand Jury has indicted Robert Wayne Puckett, 40, for allegedly pointed the weapon at his estranged wife at a truck stop in the 3300 block of Andy Devine Avenue at about 6:15 a.m.

Kingman Police officers found the weapon in the landscaped area in front of a business in the area of Andy Devine and Detroit avenues.

He faces felony counts of aggravated assault by domestic violence and disorderly conduct involving a weapon by domestic violence.

Judge Billy Sipe will arraign him today.

The grand jury also indicted:

• Trent Jordan Simon (three indictments): Five counts of third-degree burglary, credit card theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, theft, and forgery. (Second indictment): Third-degree burglary, theft of means of transportation, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. (Third indictment): Forgery and taking the identity of another.

Judge Steven Conn will arraign him in all cases at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

• Margarita Campos-Carranza: Three counts of aggravated assault and aggravated assault by domestic violence.

Judge Lee Jantzen will arraign her June 28.

• Richard James Wyninger (two indictments): Third-degree burglary, theft of means of transportation, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. (Second indictment): Sale of methamphetamine.

Conn will arraign him in both cases at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

• Jonathan Michael Martinez, Billy Howard and Cathleen Michelle Still: Third-degree burglary, theft of means of transportation, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Conn will indict Martinez and Howard at 8:30 a.m. Monday. Jantzen will arraign Still at 10:30 a.m. Monday.

• Nicholas Shane Zavalza: Three counts of disorderly conduct involving a weapon, misconduct involving weapons and unlawful discharge of a firearm.

Sipe will arraign him today.

• Steven Dewitt Brodie: Aggravated assault by domestic violence and misdemeanor disorderly conduct involving a weapon by domestic violence.

Sipe will arraign him today.

• Robert Allen Cota Jr.: theft of means of transportation.

Sipe will arraign him at 3:30 p.m. July 1.

• Eric Shane Thompson: Second-degree burglary, impersonating a police officer.

Sipe will arraign him today.

• Nathan James Ortiz: Third-degree burglary.

Sipe will arraign him today.

• Ricardo G. Salcedo: Possession of methamphetamine for sale, sale of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jantzen will arraign him today.

• Horry O. Robertson III: Possession of narcotics for sale, possession of methamphetamine, three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and two counts misconduct involving weapons.

Sipe will arraign him today.

• Luis Alberto Orozco-Huerta: Two counts of transportation of methamphetamine for sale and two counts of possession of dangerous drugs for sale.

Sipe will arraign him today.
