KINGMAN - The COYOTE (COaltion YOuth TEam) 2016 Summer Program has started.

The Arizona @ Work Job Center, a division of the Mohave County Community Services Department, runs the annual program in Kingman, Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City and Parker.

This year 32 participants ages 14-23 are preparing to learn work readiness at diverse worksites. They work five weeks on a job with job training by a work mentor.

This program is a private/public partnership geared to nurture occupational skills based on interests and aptitudes. Ten of the youth are in privately funded positions and the rest are publicly funded through grants.

Here, youth and program personnel gather for a group photo Friday in front of the Mohave County Administration Building.
