KINGMAN - A woman whose husband threatened to call the Department of Child Safety after he found illegal drugs stabbed walls and a kitchen countertop and threatened to kill her husband, father and child before deputies arrived.
Christina Marie Clemmer, 21, of Kingman faces two felony counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon by domestic violence and three misdemeanor charges of threatening by domestic violence.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies took her into custody shortly after 2:40 p.m. at a home in the 3600 block of Ryan Avenue.
Deputies were not sure what they were getting into. Dispatchers advised a man and woman were arguing and the woman had a knife and the man had a gun.
With this in mind, they entered the home with weapons drawn after a woman outside told them her daughter would not put down a knife.
Both Clemmer and her husband put down their weapons. Her husband, 29, told deputies that Clemmer "went crazy" after he confronted her about locating a plastic bag with white residue.
Clemmer allegedly threatened to kill her husband and their three-year-old daughter. She allegedly stabbed walls in their bedroom when he picked up the child and ran.
She continued to chase him into the kitchen and around the island while he still held the child.
The man said he grabbed his gun and held it on Clemmer until deputies arrived. Clemmer's father, 46, told deputies she became upset when the child's dad said he was calling child safety social workers. He also told deputies that his daughter stabbed the counters.
