Louise Dorothy Soll passed away peacefully in her home in Kingman on June 25, 2016. She was born in Sargent, Neb., on Nov. 11, 1932. She is preceded in death by her parents, Chloe and Pratt Harman, her husband, Fred Richard Soll, her brothers Raymond, John, Walter, Howard and Russell, and her companion Butterball the cat. She is survived in death by her sister, Opal Gault; her children Jimmy (Nancy) Lee, Peggy (Errol) Ives, Susan Diaz, Kathy (Gary) Kinsey and Beverly Ballard, and her stepchildren Raeann Weber and Dick Soll; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She loved to travel and spend time with her family and made friends everywhere she went. Louise was a longtime resident of Cody, Wyo., and enjoyed living in Arizona for 43 years. Most notably were the years she and her sister homesteaded on 40 acres in Northern Arizona where they earned the respect and admiration of all their neighbors. She was a dedicated mother and a wonderful, beloved friend to many. You could always find her sitting on her front porch with a smile and a hug for her many visitors. She left her imprint on us all and will be truly missed.
