A memorial service for Enid Marie (Bobbi) Bork will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Lawton First Assembly in Lawton, Okla., in the Garden Room with the Rev. Don Barnes, pastor, and the Rev. Gary Pratt, associate pastor, officiating.
She will be laid to rest at 1 p.m. with her husband, Rudolph J. Bork, with Navy honors at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Okla.
Enid Marie Bork, 85, passed away Feb. 21, 2016, at Montevista in Lawton after a long battle with COPD.
Enid was born in Tillamook, Ore., on May 9, 1930. She lived in Fontana, Calif., where she met her husband, Rudolph J. Bork, and got married Oct. 5, 1947. They were in their 60th year of marriage when Rudolph died from lung cancer. She also lived in Lompoc, Calif., Oregon House, Calif., Golden Valley, and Lawton, Okla.
She was a Christian woman with a childlike faith. She loved doing crafts and showing others how to do them.
To know her was to love her and she will be missed. She lived with her daughter Deborah and her son-in-law Stephen Carroll in Lawton.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon E. Helm of Yuba City, Calif., and Deborah L. Carroll of Lawton, Okla. She also had the joy of three grandchildren: Craig Edwards, Shawn Edwards of Yuba City, Calif., and Kimberly Warmack of Ruston, La.; eight great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph J. Bork; father, Claude L. Shrader; mother, Dora M. Shrader; three sisters; and one brother.
