Mohave Arms Collectors Association gives away fishing trip

KINGMAN - Cottonwood resident Jerry Whiteley won a fishing trip donated by Striper Hunters in a contest held by the Mohave Arms Collectors Association.

Whiteley had purchased $20 in tickets from MACA member Keith Gilbert, who is vice president of the organization, which is a group of firearms owners and enthusiasts from all over Mohave County.

Gilbert noted that all of the tickets for the fundraiser, which numbered 400, had been sold.

Area gun shops also assisted in selling tickets and Gilbert noted that The Gun Shop, which is located on Stockton Hill Road, had sold all 50 tickets that they had been given.

The club is a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment and the Arizona Game and Fish Department's Hunter Education program.
