Historic downtown Kingman? If it is so historic, why is the city allowing historic buildings to be torn down?
Why hasn't the historic downtown been designated a national historic area? A National Historic Landmark is a building, site, structure, object, or district that is officially recognized by the United States government for its national historical significance.
Why isn't our historic downtown being protected and guarded by our elected officials? I'm afraid that without full protection under the law that the only historic buildings will be the Circle K, several storage containers and a fence made of pallets. One may own the property and the buildings, but no one has the right to destroy our heritage and history. Time to save our downtown.
