Chase White's BMX worlds end in second round

KINGMAN - Chase White, 11, advanced to the 1/8 (second) round of racing at the UCI BMX World Championships in the Challenge Boys 11 Wednesday in Medellin, Colombia, after three races. White was eliminated in the 1/8 attempting to advance to the 1/4 (third) round.

White needed to place in the top four but came in fifth against riders from Colombia, Ecuador, Great Britain, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and Bolivia.

He finished his opening set of three motos in third place against seven other riders. He finished second, and came in third place twice to advance to the 1/8 round with 64 other racers. White competed with riders from Colombia, New Zealand, Chile and Ecuador in the opening round.

Australia's Thomas Tucker won the Challenge Boys 11 world championship.
