Register for Fishing for Smiles

KINGMAN - The annual Fishing for Smiles fishing event will be held on June 11 at the Dunton Ranch pond on I-40.

The event is free, with no donations asked for or needed. But the only way to sign up your kids for this event is to attend the Kingman Regional Medical Center Kids Day event on Saturday.

Registrations will be taken only from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Parents are reminded that there must be a parent or guardian with their children at all times at the fishing event.

According to Bob Kay, a member of the Kingman Elks Lodge #468, there will be people from the Elks Club on hand to sign up anyone under 16 years old for this one day event.

The Fishing For Smiles event is co-sponsored by the Kingman Elks Lodge #468, KRMC, Mohave Sportsman Club, and with major finding by the Arizona Sportsmen For Wildlife Conservation.

The fishing event will start at 7 a.m. and will end at noon.

Lunch and drinks will be served to all who attend.

For more information call Bob Kay at 928-818-9500, Bill Shilling 928-279-9201 or Jerry Grimes at 928-727-5925.
