Cerbat Elementary School celebrated Red Ribbon Week last week with fun activities that encourage students to stay away from drugs. On the left is Principal Vicki Trujillo, and in the back middle, Becky Ashton, school librarian and coordinator of Red Ribbon Week. Thursday’s theme was “Too Much Character to do Drugs.” Students dressed up as their favorite cartoon characters. Monday, students wore mustaches; Tuesday they participated by wearing crazy clothes and sporting unique hairstyles; and Wednesday they wore red clothes with sunglasses to “Shade out Drugs.”
