Letter: Trump is the answer

I’m ba-a-ack. I have been splitting time between caring for my wife who has spent the past year in and out of KRMC fighting off five strokes (brain), and moving back to our “new” house 3.3 miles away.

Also prepping our first Arizona home, purchased here in February, 2008, now for sale.

We made four moves between the two homes and, hopefully this is the last. My wife has the spirit and fortitude of a pioneer in a covered wagon, but settling down is a must. The moves are onerous, my advanced age is a factor, but the election of the right new leader has restored faith, hope and belief in government.

I have been steadfast in my support of Donald Trump and his family being the ones who can right the listing ship of state. I had a storefront on Highway 68 and was collecting signatures on a petition trying to get Mr. Trump to run for president in early 2011. I believe he can and will “make America great again.” I have stated my belief and support on your opinion page with letters since then.

I find strong support in the area, but a disproportionate number of “hate” letters from our of state “reporters,” belittling Donald. I hope, now that we have chosen him to lead us back to a proud and respected nation, you will be respectful of that choice and put the naysayers aside and help us believe the future is bright.

Politicians are not the answer; a businessman can make us strong – and will.

The future is bright, you can help us believe it – and should.

glad to hear life is getting better for you and your family. I too agree , business over politics. I was reluctant to endorse Trump at 1st, but after seeing what a crook hillary is, the choice was obvious. then there is the whiners who feel ,for some reason, hillary was jilted. sorry, no, she just plain lost! as more people didn't want an obvious crook!

not going to get into the protestors/ sore losers issue, but their temper tantrums ARE GETTING OLD!

Trump has declared bankruptcy multiple times, used a $916 million loss to avoid paying federal income tax for 18 years, is the object of 70 current lawsuits, and is a scam artist who defrauds his business patrons, cheats his employees out of promised wages, relies heavily on cheap foreign labor, and is a slum lord.

Anyone who has enough money to start with can get even richer by gaming the system. Trump claims to have been "smart" enough to avoid paying his fair share, which his supporters applaud. However, these same people scream bloody murder if some poor child from a low-income working family avoids malnutrition by getting a few dollars in food stamps. What hypocrites.

"Trump is the answer" - and the question is "Who is the dumbest, most crooked, and slimy candidate ever put up by really ignorant people?"

Ahhh, sorry....that would be Hillary Clinton, by a landslide!

Did Trump Defenders like $5 a gallon gas under that idiot Bush Kid? Well get ready for $8 to $10 a gallon as Trump shuts off Saudi oil from entering the United States (wanta bet he doesn't do it?). Yep, you pathetic losers made a great choice - but the majority of real American voters saw through the master con-man.

Why all the hate. Give the man a chance. A lot of people all said that his election would put Wall Street in the toilet and look what happened there. Maybe this will work out for the best too. If it doesn't then stand up against it but don't spread hate and rumors until we know.

The President of our country, or any other country, has little or nothing to do with oil prices. It's called SUPPLY AND DEMAND. When producers over produce the price goes down. OPEC has been trying, to no avail, to get their members to slow down production. If the price moves it won't be because of a President any where.

The majority of "real Americans didn't give a dime about Trump or Clinton. They just wanted the one in office that promised the most "free stuff".

I've always said, the way for republicans to dominate the elections is to promise the most "free stuff". They then can do just like the democrat candidates and go back on their promises. Then, next election promise to deliver all the "free stuff" that they didn't in the present political cycle and BOOM, the "free stuffers" will elect them again! It's that simple!

Not really up on how elections are handled are you?

If you don't agree with what I said about elections and "free stuff"; then we ALL know WHO doesn't understand political elections!

Sadly all too true and with the 5 minute memory and 2 minute attention span of the general population these days; it would work over and over and over...

Exactly, and the democrats figured that out many years ago. This is always the way a "democracy" fails!

Your statement concerning the MAJORITY is probable but not fact! At the time the States certified the vote there were approximately seven million uncounted paper absentee votes! States like Alaska accept absentee votes as long a they are post marked by election day. New York accepts absentee votes up until seven days after election day. New York issued their certified results on November 10th with five more days to go until the election was truly over. The process of counting paper ballots is long and time consuming. There will be a "Final Tally" before the Electoral College meets.

One thing for sure Trump just chocked on the fake college civil suit, swore he would never settle, paid $25 million, that is just the cases which were in NYS! I think it opens the door for individuals whose state AG's did not bring class action suits as the NYS AG did, one does not have to join a class action suit, hence Trumps fake college settlements might work their way through all them states which were waiting to see how this case settled or not! As to him fixing America, a man who failed 6 times in bankruptcy, does not pay his workers, contractors, is no genius, just a good con man who knows how to use folks to his advantage!

Glad to see stupid Liberals are still around. Need a good laugh, now and then. Not that this will get posted by this Liberal paper.

Germany also thought a demagogue was their answer to their woes, he too demonized a certain internal enemy, and it led to their national destruction, disgrace! Have we just seen our version of pre-world war II Germany?

So you think a socialist/communist leader is better for America?

Trump has yet to take the oath of office and already rumors are rampant he is violating some laws in his business issues! He is a con man alright and I have never trusted the rascal, anyone who is born with a silver spoon in his mouth and tries to tell me a working class person all my life he can relate to me is a simple liar, and anyone who believes anything he says is dumb as a stump!
