Tsosie on hot streak, sparks Lady Bulldogs runners

Moyd makes Volunteers’ boys a threat

KINGMAN – After winning the Mark Weston Invitational in Lake Havasu City on Sept. 24, Kingman’s Holly Tsosie finished second at the River Valley Night Run on Thursday.

The Lady Bulldogs finished second in team scoring at River Valley with Lee Williams third and Kingman Academy fourth. Lake Havasu won the girls meet.

“Alondra is doing a fabulous job,” said LWHS cross country coach Joan Abraham. “She is really working hard at practice and it is paying off.”

In boys cross country, Zach Moyd (15:51) won the River Valley Night Run race by eight seconds over teammate Cayden Robles (15:59) to lead Lee Williams to the team win with 41 points. Lake Havasu (56) was second, Parker (61) third, Kingman (78) fourth, Kingman Academy (13) fifth, and River Valley (154) sixth.

Moyd finished fourth at the Mark Weston, as Lee Williams finished second behind Yuma Kofa.
