Letter: Know the facts

It’s vitally important that high school students/pregnant women know all the facts before making any life-changing decision. They need to be well-informed; that includes how a baby develops in the womb, prenatal care and parenting skills.

The Advice & Aid Pregnancy Center offers these to those seeking information and support.

Since the center opened its doors, it has helped over 4,000 clients. In 2015, the center performed 259 pregnancy tests, 75 ultrasounds, eight babies were saved from abortion and 1,570 clients signed for assistance.

Once signed up, clients are aided by training and education. The center is supported through gifts, grants and fundraising.

Through this support, the center is able to offer free of charge, counseling, referrals to a local obstetrician, and pregnancy tests, such as the “Window to the Womb” which is the ultrasound when the mother can see her baby for the first time. It may be the turning point from abortion to a new life.

This center offers women the opportunity to choose life by being well-informed first.
