8K run planned for Saturday

Members of the Lee Williams High School football team assist residents across the starting line at The Lingenfelter Center from a previous Race to Remember.

KINGMAN – The Seventh annual Race to Remember 8K run and 1K walk benefitting The Lingenfelter Center is scheduled Saturday at 7 a.m.

The race will start at The Lingenfelter Center, 1099 Sunrise Ave. Participants will run alongside the Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course, then turn around where the golf course meets the Cerbat Mountains and return to the center.

Once runners cross the finish line, they will be rewarded with a recovery party with a disc jockey, raffle drawings and an awards ceremony.

The cost is $25 for the walk and $35 for the 8K. The entry fee is waived for those who have raised $100 or more in pledges. Participants will receive a T-shirt and goodie bag.

A packet pick-up party is scheduled Friday at The Lingenfelter Center from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
