KINGMAN – Mohave State Bank continued a charity streak by donating a check to Cornerstone Mission Thursday. The bank has been a community partner with the mission for the past five years, donating $2,000 each year.
“We make it part of our business to give back to our community,” said Dan Del Monaco, Mohave State Bank vice president and branch manager.
Cornerstone Mission currently serves an average of 200 people daily with services such as soup kitchen meals, food boxes, sack lunches, showers, hygiene kits, clothing, shoes and blankets.
Most services are provided at the Community Care Center and Thrift Store at 601 Hall St.
Showers, food boxes and shelter are provided at Cornerstone Mission at 3049 Sycamore Ave.
Both Kingman locations cater to the homeless and people in need.
