Arrests for dangerous drugs and warrants

According to a Kingman Police department representative, on Dec. 10, at 11:45 p.m., Kingman Police arrested Larry Dean Jay, 49 of Kingman, on felony charges of Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a misdemeanor warrant for an unrelated offense.

Jay, who was known to have a warrant for his arrest, was contacted in the 3100 block of Airway Avenue Jay was taken into custody on his warrant and found to be in possession of methamphetamine and the associated drug paraphernalia. Jay was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.

Arrests for dangerous drugs and warrants

According to a Kingman Police department representative, on Dec. 9, at 1:05 a.m., Kingman Police arrested Devina Rose Cook, 27 of Kingman, on felony charges of Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a misdemeanor warrant for an unrelated offense.

Cook was contacted in the 3300 block of Stockton Hill Road, walking behind a closed business. Cook was found to have a warrant for her arrest and was taken into custody, at which time she was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and the associated drug paraphernalia. Cook was arrested and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.

Warrant arrest

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Nora Rachel Wisely, 36, of Kingman, Dec. 10 on a felony warrant for Failure to Appear, original charge was felony Trespassing.

According to a sheriff’s representative, deputies noticed Wisely in the area of Benton and Packard at about 11:30 a.m., and knew her to have a valid warrant for her arrest. She was booked into the Mohave County Jail.

Drugs

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tyler James Shager, 26, of Lake Forest Washington, Dec. 9 for, Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Weapon in a Drug Offense, all felonies.

According to a sheriff’s representative, at approximately 10:15 a.m., deputies observed several vehicles parked or camping just east of mile post 176 off Highway 95. This area is posted “No Trespassing, Permit Required.”

While contacting Shager deputies located a line of a crystalline substance on a hutch inside Shager’s van. The substance field tested posted for cocaine and Shager admitted it was indeed cocaine. Several items of drug paraphernalia and a 9mm handgun were also in Shager’s possession. Shager was booked into the Mohave County Jail.

Burglary

Elton Joe Roberts

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Elton Joe Roberts, 40, of Kingman Dec. 8, for Burglary and Criminal Trespass, both felonies.

According to a sheriff’s representative, at about 1:30 p.m. deputies responded to a residence in the 5200 block of El Mirage in reference to a suspicious subject inside a vehicle. The victim had called the Sheriff’s office when she observed an unknown male subject sleeping in the driver’s seat of her vehicle. The vehicle was unlocked and parked inside her fenced residential yard.

Deputies arrived and identified the male subject as Elton Roberts. The glove compartment had been rummaged through and was still open. Elton was arrested without incident.

He also had a felony warrant for failure to appear out of Mohave County Superior Court and a misdemeanor warrant out of Kingman City Court. Roberts was booked into the Mohave County jail.
