Letter: KALP thanks promoters of literacy

The Kingman Area Literacy Program, (KALP), a volunteer advocacy group which promotes literary skills for all ages, would like to thank all of our sponsors for their help in promoting our growth throughout the last three years.

We have grown from a single digit staff (Sept., 2013) to currently more than thirty tutors, and have been able to help more than 100 students to better their skills.

We would like to thank the following companies and organizations for their help:

Walmart, True Value, UniSource, Hastings, Welcome, Friends of the Kingman Library, Kiwanis, Cracker Barrel, KAAA, Lowry Family Dentistry, Safeway, Smith’s Grocers, Staples, and our myriad private donors.

Sincerely, Christine Meisenheimer, Ph.D KALP director
