Letter: In response to Gary Meese’s views on people not giving as much as he thinks they should

Well, Gary, just who put you in charge of my money? Who are you to tell me what I should do with my money?

I was born in a free country where if you work, then your money is your money and you are free to do with your money whatever you choose, not what someone else thinks you should do with it.

I’m not saying that I don’t give. Ours was one of the few homes that put a bag of food out for the recent food drive. However, I am free to decide who or what should get a piece of my money and you have no right to tell me to give, give, give until it hurts my wallet that is already hurting.

Who put you in charge of driving around looking to see who was and wasn’t giving enough in your mind? You have no idea how well off anyone else is, so you have no business telling them to give more.

As for picking up hitchhikers, well, you just keep on doing that, while I on the other hand, value my life more than that. Hitchhikers can be very dangerous people, and you never know which ones are dangerous, so you are better off not picking up any of them.

Gary, you need to go live with the Clintons and Obamas on their private socialistic and communist island, and let those supreme beings (Clintons and Obamas) take your paycheck and give it to the minions who refuse to work and want you to pay their way.
