KINGMAN – City Councilmen Travis Lingenfelter and David Wayt will speak to the Conservative Republican Club of Kingman at 11:15 a.m. today during the monthly luncheon at Dambar Steakhouse, 1960 E. Andy Devine Ave.

They’ll discuss their ideas on economic development.

The meeting is open to the public, with a $3 cost to defray expenses and optional lunch on your own. No reservations are required.

The Mohave County Republican Central Committee held its Lincoln Day Dinner April 22 at the Elks, and Chairman Larry Schiff said it was a “phenomenal event.”

Guest speakers were Michele Reagan, Arizona Secretary of State, and Jeff DeWit, who was the chief financial officer of the Donald Trump campaign and is now the Arizona Treasurer.

“The attendance was great,” Schiff said. “We did make a significant profit for the party to fund our operations, and I believe people had a great time. The food was excellent – prepared by Chef Gaul – the venue was lovely, and I think everything moved along beautifully.”

Schiff said the next big event is the Mohave County Republican Picnic on Aug. 19.
