Drug Charges

On May 12, Kingman Police arrested Nicholas William McCoy, 20, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of a dangerous drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor a charge of possession of marijuana.

According to a KPD spokesperson, police responded to a disturbance near a business in the 2200 block of Kingman Avenue where a man was attempting to fight with customers.

Officers contacted McCoy, who was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Mohave County jail.

Alleged Identity Theft and Possession of Narcotics and Paraphernalia

On May 12, Kingman Police arrested Rebecca Lynn Campbell, 36, of Bullhead City on felony charges of fraud for taking the identity of another person, possession of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to a KPD spokesperson, police responded to a hotel in the 3100 block of East Andy Devine Avenue for a suspicious woman attempting to check in with fake identification and stolen credit cards.

Officers contacted Campbell, who was allegedly found in possession of multiple forms of identification with various names, as well as in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.

She was booked into the Mohave County jail.

Warrant Arrest

On May 12, Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested David Keith Roberts, 44, of Kingman on a felony warrant for seven counts of forgery with written instrument issued by Kingman Justice Court.

According to a sheriff’s spokeswoman, a warrant was issued for Roberts after an investigation determined Roberts allegedly forged a signature seven times on community service time sheet where he didn’t serve community service.

Deputies contacted Roberts in the area of El Camino Road and Airway Avenue. A records check showed him to have an outstanding warrant.

Roberts was taken into custody without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County jail.

Wanted Felony Suspect Arrested

On May 14, Kingman Police arrested Christopher Harold Adcox, 28, of Kingman on felony charges of flight from law enforcement, possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, and numerous misdemeanor charges which included several warrants and criminal traffic offenses.

According to a KPD spokesperson, officers located Adcox at a home in the 2200 block of Darren Drive. He was wanted on numerous criminal warrants and two previous incidents where he was being pursued by officers and fled in a vehicle.

Adcox was reportedly found hiding in the attic of the home when he was taken into custody. He was found allegedly in possession of heroin and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Adcox was booked into the Mohave County jail.

Alleged Domestic Violence

On May 15, Kingman Police arrested Joshua Wayne Brockway, 24, of Kingman on felony charges of domestic violence by aggravated assault and misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and simple assault by domestic violence.

According to a KPD spokesperson, police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 2100 block of Kingman Avenue where the suspect, identified as Brockway, had left the home.

An investigation revealed Brockway had allegedly choked a boy before assaulting a woman, and pushed another boy to the ground. Officers located Brockway at a home in the 1000 block of Lynnette Drive and took him into custody.

Brockway reportedly denied involvement and was ultimately booked into the Mohave County jail without incident.

Warrant Arrest

On May 15, Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Shawn Derrick Bell Jr., 20, of Kingman on a failure to appear felony warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court.

According to a sheriff’s spokeswoman, deputies contacted Bell in the 3500 block of Cardinal Drive in an unrelated matter. A records check showed him to have an outstanding warrant.

Bell was taken into custody without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County jail.

Warrants Arrest

On May 16, Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Danielle Marie Bennett, 21, of Kingman on two probation violation felony warrants issued by Mohave County Superior Court.

According to a sheriff’s spokeswoman, deputies contacted Bennett at a home in the 3600 block of Bluebird Lane regarding her active warrants where she was taken into custody without incident.

She was transported and booked into the Mohave County jail.
