Nearly 200 Kingman High School graduates, surrounded by family, teachers and Kingman Unified School District board members, sweated through the 90-plus degree temperatures Tuesday night.
Barring a few sound issues, all went well. During senior Cierra Carlos’ rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner,” loudspeakers kept cutting out. Students and their families in the bleachers picked up on the embarrassing glitches and joined Carlos in finishing the final verses, giving a fitting end to the anthem and the school year.
