LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City Police are offering limited details on a homicide that killed one person on Seabring Drive police said Friday.
Lake Havasu City Police Sgt. Tom Gray confirmed one man was found dead inside the home. Police learned that a suspect turned themselves in to the Quartizite Police Department earlier Friday and made statements about killing someone in Lake Havasu City, Gray said in an email.
As of Friday afternoon, the subject had not been charged with any crime. They were being detained by police as the investigation continued.
A group of neighbors spoke on the condition of anonymity out of concern for their safety said they believed there was one man who lived in the residence where the shooting occurred. They described him as a pleasant man who came and went to work. They did not know his name.
Gray said more information and a more detailed timeline of events will be released as they become available.
