Letter | Kneeling during the national anthem is in the First Amendment

I think as a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, I honor one flag, and I worship one God.

Worshipping any object is ungodly and is plainly stated in the Bible I follow. The First Amendment says you can freely kneel during any event in protest for any reason you like.

It is amusing a draft dodger, a man who got a questionable medical excuse for heel spurs but could dance all night long in them New York City night clubs, is now some huge patriot.

I am not buying his belated patriotism, and this Russian scandal makes me truly wonder where his true loyalty lays.
