Letter | Frank Esquibel deserves to be recognized

I was 10 years old when Frank Esquibel was instrumental in starting Little League in Kingman.

He and Joe Torres were two Hispanics deeply involved in seeing the young men in Kingman had fun in playing organized baseball.

Like my brother, Leo Tapia, who was instrumental in starting youth football and girls softball in Kingman, these men deserve to be recognized for what they did for their community.

The fact that they were of Hispanic origin should not be a barrier.
