LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. (AP) — Police say a Lake Havasu City man has been arrested in connection with the death of his 2-year-old daughter.
They announced Tuesday that 21-year-old Andrew Lamorie is accused of child abuse per domestic violence, aggravated assault per domestic violence, child neglect, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He's being held on a $1 million bond in the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.
It's unclear if Lamorie has a lawyer yet.
Police say the child was found not breathing last Thursday.
She was taken to a hospital and died Sunday after being taken off life support.
Lake Havasu City police say their criminal investigations unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the child's death and additional charges are possible.
